5 of us share a house in unincorporated West Seattle (near 30th Ave SW and Roxbury) with a big firepit/grassy knoll at a house sometimes referred to as "The Cabin in the City." We are vaxed and ready to party. :-) There are around 30ish people who play acoustic music over here on occasion. In the spirit of Chicago (which is antithetical to the often doucheclown inspired spirit of Seattle) we are looking to grow the community and meet new people! In the past we've hosted jams, open mics and backyard shows. I personally play guitar, bass, piano and sing though most of my time is spent producing music solo in the studio. My current project is called Broken Ocean and my prior in Seattle was Pocket Panda. I also run a couple music related meetup groups. As long as you are a cool/kind person any skill level is fine - it also in large part just about hanging out with other musicians and meeting new people. I’ll mention we smoke weed, drink and occasionally consume fungus. We host/encourage diverse people, though Casper the Friendly Ghost is also definitely welcome! :) If you’d like attend just email me back – if you send a number or email I can let you know when the next one is.
