Concrete Laborers, Equipment Operators & Truck Drivers/Laborer Jim Fischer Inc. (JFI) is looking for Concrete Laborers, Equipment Operators and combination CDL Truck Driver/Laborer. Jim Fischer Inc. is a local concrete contractor looking for several people to fill a variety of positions. Laborers must be able to perform strenuous tasks with your hands, ability to kneel, bend and lift heavy materials. High school diploma and excellent work ethics. No experience necessary we will train the right people. Ability and willingness to learn different tasks. Must have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. Good work ethic and ability to take orders. Equipment Operators must be able produce high quality work, while working safely and productively at all times. Preferred experience in operating all types of heavy equipment including leveling lasers. Experience reading civil and structural blueprints and transferring information to job sites including preparing sites, staking, marking and planning efficient site preparation. Must have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation, CDL preferred. Good work ethic and ability to give and take orders. Combination CDL Truck Driver/Laborer, must have a valid CDL license and willing to labor as well as drive truck. Must be willing to do all the tasks as a laborer, perform strenuous tasks with your hands, ability to kneel, bend and lift heavy materials. High school diploma and excellent work ethics. All the above positions are full time 40+ hours per week. Home every night. Typical work week Monday through Friday. The construction season usually goes from April to November. JFI is also a snow/ice removal contractor all employees are required to be available during the off season. We offer Excellent hourly pay, pay typically begins at $20.00/hour and goes up depending on position and experience.
