Hello my name is Alex Goldberg and I am a professional musician and educator. I have been a full time professional bassist for nine years and have been teaching for many of those years. I am currently enrolling students for private lessons on Skype/Zoom or in person at my home in Lakewood. I play close to 200 gigs a year and I bring my experience of being a professional musician into the lesson! Lessons are designed to work with the students goals and interests. In the lessons we spend time learning the songs students love. We also focus on jazz, classical, blues, rock, hip-hop and other popular styles of music. Students are also taught music theory and how to apply it to the music they are interested in playing. I also teach students how to read music and charts. I provide a fun atmosphere and offer lessons to all age groups and playing abilities. I have a degree in bass performance from the University of Colorado Denver. I have back up bands like “The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band” and played shows for 100,000 people at one time. For rates and availability respond to this post. Thank you!
