Looking for experienced and reliable people for temp to hire positions The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Loading and unloading trucks, order picking, wrapping products, packing, labeling shipping and receiving. Operating and maintaining forklifts and trucks to ensure safety of coworkers. Cleaning and maintaining work area on a daily basis. Operating within standard operating procedures and job safety guidelines. Responsible for quality control. Ensuring no damaged product is shipped out and no damaged raw material is accepted in. Ensuring product are pulled accurately in terms of item description and quantity. Packaging finish product for shipping, accurately taking measurements and weights. Replenishing inventory stock as required and participating in the physical count of inventory if needed. Coordinating work with fellow workers and effectively taking direction from warehouse supervisor. Sharing responsibilities of weekly pick-ups and deliveries to multiple locations in Houston and Austin. Facility maintenance including trash management, lawn maintenance, office space cleaning and other duties as assigned. Basic knowledge of using and operating warehouse machinery and equipment including forklifts Ability to work as a team and coordinate workings with both warehouse staff and office personnel Must have positive attitude, ability to work with limited supervision and desire to work hard ***MUST BE ABLE TO PASS % YEAR BACKGROUND?
