15 month old Quaker in need of a new home. Experienced bird owner who knows Quaker behaviors required. This guy talks and is very tame. He does go through hormonal periods, as all Quaker’s do, where he doesn’t want to be held etc. for a while He eats a diet of mostly fresh chop 80% (sprouts, peas, corn, broccoli, peppers, green beans, berries, radishes, spinach, lettuce etc.) We prepare this for him once a day and supplement with Harrison’s Roudybush and a few other supplemental pellets. These birds live 25 years plus and a healthy diet is part of a long life. He will likely not do well with other birds, so he is not a cage companion for your bird. He makes noise so he will not be a quiet bird in the corner. He has a great personality and will bring a great deal of joy. Quakers usually are one person birds and they do the choosing. There is a re-homing fee that is appropriate for a bird of this age and breed. If the ad is up he is available so please don’t ask. I will be asking lots of questions to verify he is going to his forever home. Thank you!
