American Dream Machines, a Des Moines based classic car dealership is looking for a hard working, self driven candidate with great attention to detail. This position is a difficult but very important job, cleaning, detailing and sometimes repairing undercarriages of cars that are 40 - 70 years old, bringing out their beauty once again. This candidate will be working above their heads most of the time, with the car on a lift. The job entails sanding, painting, welding and grinding. Other duties could include minor fabrication, mounting tires, and exhaust work. Tools and protective gear are provided. Candidate must be able to work independently, take pride in their work and their surroundings, be able to take direction well, be able to be flexible according to changing priorities, take on other duties as needed and lend a hand to others when able.
