A assortment of kitten supplies that where purchased this week will be included: assorted cat food, plastic cat-box litter tray, little box tray scoop, cat toy, New kitten collar an leash. He has not had any shots. We have only had him a week. We rescued him from a abandoned mother. Will consider delivering kitten up to 3 miles. We really would like to see this little guy go to a caring home. So we are asking for a few requirements: If the kitten is for a child. That the child be at least 8 years old and currently possesses the ability to be gentle 100% of the time with this fragile kitten. Small Kittens, as they are growing, naturally want to play fight with human hands. In a kittens mind a human hands is the replacement for their kitten siblings. Generally when they are laying in their sides and someone is petting them. They will often grab your hand gently bite, claw, and kick at your hand, all while purring. This kitty loves to purr, very affectionate. Most children who have played with kittens have experienced and understand this. Make sure your child understands this is part of their playtime. Most children and adults can tolerate this gentle play. Some form-fitting gardening gloves can be worn for this type of kitten play if their play biting or claws are a little too much. Please.... no homes with dogs or other pets that "might" attack this little kitten. Please consider adopting grown cat who can protect himself if you have a dog. Yes, some dogs are very gentle. But, please consider jealousy, and instinct may cause a gentle dog to kill a kitten. Whether or not you are new to raising a kitten, here are some helpul tips and reminders: Yes, cats generally hate walking leashes. However, at this young age they are more accepting and trainable. He does seem to be ok with leash attached. Mostly wants to play with it. The leash should be used at least transporting the kitten. Why? Kittens spook easily in new environments an want to run and hide in small places that can be extremely hard to extract them from. A leash is very helpful for the first week or two of adjusting to new home and owner. Keeping the leash handle on a wrist. If you choose to continue leash training. It is very important to remember to check and adjust fitment size on the collar as he grows every week or two. For the first couple weeks would also suggest keeping him in either a large cage, or medium confined space such as a walk-in closet, bathroom, laundry room, or bedroom with door closed. This would be to help keep from losing him in your home. Cats and their kittens have a natural instinct to use a litter box every time. They prefer to bury their droppings. So don't forget to place a litter box and clean once a week. He is weened/bottle broken, eats and drinks on his own. Kittens need to be fed more often. If you are single an work. You can leave excessive amount of cat food to last until you get home. They are babies and eat all day age as they are growing. He seems to also love scrambled eggs too. However do not feed raw eggs. Many online articles claim eggs must be cooked and cooled-down, not hot. Cats are carnivores. Can be fed table scraps of shredded, boneless, chicken, fish, beef, etc. But not too much. Try to leave a generous amount of dry crunchy cat food. Enough so he does not run out between feedings. Email or text: 4&eight&zero 2*two#0ne 6#zero%nine*6
