Meekhof Tire is growing and we are seeking Tire Tech's. If you want stability in your career, this is an excellent opportunity to get in with an established family owned company. We have openings at multiple locations, depending on your experience. Right now, we are willing to train the right individual for the Kalamazoo/Mattawan location. - Semi Truck Tires / ERS Road Service - Passenger/Retail Tires - Farm or Agricultural Tires - OTR or off the road tires In return for your time we offer a good starting wage, with 50+ hours per week, year round w/overtime and double-time Duties and Responsibilities: • Operate a service truck in a safe and efficient manner • Route delivery & pick-up for new commercial tire & retread sales programs • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs multiple times per day • Handle Emergency Road Service calls during the day, and be available for the night rotation • Mount, dismount & balance tire assemblies (or willingness to learn) • Determine repair or removal conditions • TIA Training & Certification (or willingness to obtain) Qualified candidates will operate a Meekhof Tire service truck on the side of the road, and at customer locations - hot and cold weather exposure is to be expected. Qualifications: • Experience preferred but will train • Clean driving record • Must be willing to work in a safe manner, and follow all safety procedures • Able to work without direct supervision while at customer locations & on service calls • Good customer service skills - both written and verbal • Must pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug test • Must have a valid driver's license for the type of vehicle required for the position Meekhof Tire is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Excellent pay with overtime, and double time - no layoffs during the winter months - Excellent benefits including; 100% Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, and Profit Sharing. - Great work environment with well equipped shops and trucks.
