Mid-Tec, Inc., a commercial general contractor based out of Anderson, MO, is seeking experienced welders, millwrights, and metal fabricators. We are looking for someone who is a team player, takes directions thoroughly, and possess a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate needs to be detailed oriented, able to work in a fast-paced work environment, and perform various shop/fabrication duties in addition to welding. REQUIREMENTS: • 2 years experience in mig, tig, flux, and arc welding • Experience in fabrication and layout • Be proficient in use of tape measures, weld gauges, and all tools required to perform the job per AWS D1.1 codes • Be self-motivated and reliable • Be able to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, push, pull, carry items, and lift a minimum of 70 pounds • Ability to read blueprints is a plus • Must have reliable transportation -This position will be based out of our shop in Anderson, MO, and will require travel, some weekends, and some holidays -This position is full-time with average work week hours varying, but overtime will be paid at time and a half over 40 hours during the work week. -Excellent pay and benefits including health, dental, vision, 401k, drive time, and per diem when working outside Mid-Tec's local area. -Pay is $14-$20/hour, based on experience -Pre-Employment drug screen is required.
