We offer a full line of fence products and services for homeowners, commercial businesses, homeowners associations, and developers throughout the entire Colorado Front Range, extending from Colorado Springs all the way to Fort Collins. Responsibilities • Establish the location for a fence, and gather information needed to ensure that there are no electric cables or water lines in the area • Discuss/Confirm fencing needs with customers • Measuring and laying out new fence lines • Align posts, using lines or by sighting, and verify vertical alignment of posts • Removing old fencing • Dig postholes, using spades, posthole diggers, or power-driven augers • Mix and pour concrete around bases of posts • positioning wooden, concrete or metal posts, and fixing them to a concrete base • Cutting panels to size and fixing them to the posts • Attach rails and pickets using nail gun • Painting and weatherproofing • Other duties assigned as needed You’ll use a range of fencing materials, like timer, concrete, wire and metal. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. May be required to lift up to 100 lbs. Job site work may involve extended periods of walking or standing and additional limited physical requirements, including climbing ladders, scaffolding, maneuvering around small obstacles, moving through cramped quarters, crawling, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, kneeling, bending, and operating office equipment that is hand operated. Visual acuity is required to observe site environment and hazardous conditions. Driving required – must have valid driver’s license for five or more years.
