WPOP Internet Radio (PopRadio 77) is looking for reliable individuals (18 or older) to join the Street Team on a P/T basis on weekends. This position is great for someone looking to get into radio with an opportunity to grow into an on air position or full time radio job. Members of the Street Team are responsible for: *Transporting Remote Broadcast Equipment to Event Location *Setting Up and Tearing Down Remote Broadcast Equipment *Testing Equipment Prior to LIVE Remote Broadcast *Interacting with the public at Events *Running the Prize Wheel for Events with prizes *Selling T-Shirts/promo items at Events Street Team members are expected to be able to work weekends, some nights, holidays (as scheduled) and attend radio functions as per availability. Street Team Leaders must be able to comfortably lift 50lbs. Should also have a knowledge of broadcasting equipment and basic connections and cables, but will train the right person. Plus, a van/SUV/pickup is needed for Leader role. Street Team Members will be asked to perform all duties except that which involves the broadcasting equipment. Compensation will be generally up to $15/hour plus mileage reimbursements/meal benefits for Leaders. Team Members will be paid $12/hr with meal benefits during the events.
