Pit bulls/mixes can end up in very bad situations when you don’t post a decent adoption fee. $20 doesn’t insure a good home for her. Dog fighters won’t have an issue paying $20-$40 for a bait dog. Also, you shouldn’t be reserving homes for puppies that aren’t yet weaned and ready to go. 8 weeks old is when it’s appropriate to rehome. Because of all the scammers, it’s not recommended to ask for a deposit. That’s how you get yourself flagged.
