Mowing 1/2 acre sloped lot

I have a 1 acre sloped lot in the Derby Downs subdivision which I we are currently building a spec home on. The spec home sitework has started so about half of the land has been disturbed but there is still about 1/2 acre which needs immediate mowing because it is getting too high. The grass is about knee high so a push mower will not work and this requires either a good riding mower or a bushhog tractor. I realize that, due to piled up dirt and silt fencing, this will not be a perfect mowing job but I mainly just need to get the majority of the grassed area to get mowed down with a close cut. It does have around a 20% slope on some of it so you will have to go slow on that portion.
