Digging out a Lawn Hydrant 4'

I have a lawn hydrant (in TAOS) that is leaking and I need it replaced. The first step is digging down - 4-5 feet (I've already done 3') - and clearing an area around the hydrant with shovels. Two strong people at $20 an hour for 3 hours of work should do it.
