This is a tough job, not for the faint of heart, you will work up to 7 days per week, all summer long, inside of a containment, wearing a respirator. You will be away from family for prolonged periods of time. You may work local, but most of the time you will stay out of town, living out of a motel. You will work in a dusty, dirty environment. You need to be physically able to work on your hands and knees, and move up and down in various bending, kneeling and standing positions, as you typically will start out as a ground person/ grit reclamation person, using a vacuum hose to clean up blasting debris from the ground tarps and various locations inside the containment. You will go to a multiple of different classes to learn safety and many other skills needed to perform at 100% on the job.
