Nashville-based Commercial General Contractor is currently seeking Skilled Commercial Carpenters for immediate employment. Candidates must have at least 2 years of commercial carpentry experience which includes, but not limited to; knowledge of commercial and industrial construction, drywall (hanging, float & tape, and finish), trim, ceramic tile, flooring, window and door installation, painting, etc. Projects located in Murfreesboro. **Please respond with current resume or detailed job history and contact information. Duties include: - General Carpentry - Rough and Finish Framing - Hang Drywall / Drywall Repair / Patching / Caulking - Finish Drywall / tape & float / texture - Painting Interior and Exterior - Window and Door installation - General Repairs and Maintenance Work - Read and Interpret Construction Drawings Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years Commercial carpentry experience - Reliable transportation - Must pass drug screen and background check - Must be able to read and understand blueprints and project documents - Must be able to follow oral and written instruction - Safety mindedness is essential Physical Requirements: -Hear and distinguish emergency signals and instructions while on duty -Must be able to repetitively sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach and crawl -Must be able to repeatedly lift a minimum of 50 pounds -Must be able to work in all outdoor elements for extended periods of time.
