No experience necessary. Clark, located in Apex, NC, is a subcontractor in the highway pavement marking industry and is seeking dependable, motivated individuals willing to learn our trade of installing/removing pavement markings (white/yellow lines, turn arrows, stop bars, reflectors, etc.) on our NC roadways. Weekly assignments vary locally and throughout Central & Eastern NC. Work schedules may include days, nights, and weekend work. Per Diem for meals and hotel expenses paid when overnight travel required. Company vehicles driven to job site. Shift premium paid for night work. Responsibilities and Duties Duties may include general labor, layout of roadways, traffic control, setting up/taking down road signs, driving backup cushion trucks, operating hand equipment; blowers & grinders, feeding melters, light truck maintenance, etc. Qualifications and Skills Previous experience working in an outdoor environment, a plus, but not necessary. Good physical condition important; good eyesight and hearing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. required to perform essential functions of the job. High school diploma/GED preferred, but not required. Ability to communicate in basic English necessary for safety. Active NC driver's license with a good driving record a MUST; CDL's a PLUS! or desire to obtain. Must pass post-offer DMV check, criminal background check, and DOT physical and drug test.
