Being a Catcher / Shipper is a very important job. It is labor intensive, and you will be on your feet all day. All employees start as a catcher and have the ability to grow to other positions when the opportunity presents itself. A catcher is responsible for catching shirts and counting to make sure all the pieces are in a order.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Catching shirts as they come out of the dryer to be used again on press
Catching finished shirts and counting them for outbound shipping
Boxing Shirts for outbound shipping
- Watching for misprints and communicating to the press operators to fix
- Maintaining a well kept shipping area that is clean and organized
- Make sure all outbound shipments are presented well to our customers
- Shipping outbound orders to various locations. Basic computer skills with attention to detail required.
- Receiving / counting incoming orders to ensure that they are counted in correctly.
Suggested Attire: Shorts / T Shirt, closed toe shoes. The warehouse production environment is very hot. Although you will not be handling ink, ink transfer can happen in other areas of the shop, so do not wear anything you wouldn’t wear while painting.
