SUMMARY: Contributes to the activities of the Memphis by unpacking material and sorting accordingly. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Major responsibilities of the position are listed below. To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties, assignments and specific projects may be assigned at the discretion of management. RF Scanner usage. Unpacking, Sorting, and Counting. Operates pallet jack to move, convey, or hoist pallets to unpack or work area Must be able available to work an 8 hour shift during the hours of 6am – 6pm, Monday – Friday. Must be available to work Saturday and Sundays, or more than 8 hours per day as well. Adhere to company policies, ISO requirements, 5S, safety, and quality workmanship; Must maintain good attendance and punctuality. Supports continual improvement efforts. Other duties as required. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years related experience High School Graduate or GED LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, emails, customer data, part numbers. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
