JOB SUMMARY We are looking for pickup truck drivers to assist in servicing our cardboard recycling routes. Drivers will load cardboard from our warehouse clients and drop the cardboard off at our recycling partners. This route will be from a warehouse at 428 S Cherry St, Wallingford, CT 06492 to our recycling partner at 718 Old Colony Rd #2, Wallingford, CT 06492. The two locations are 8 minutes apart. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Valid driver's license and clean driving record Attention to detail and skilled organization Strong verbal communication skills Working smartphone to send emails to management and contact warehouse management for dumpster keys Ability to lift 50+ pounds Ability to perform such activities as grasping, lifting, reaching, crouching, walking, sitting, and carry repetitively and for long periods of time Move clean cardboard out of cardboard dumpster and unload at recycling site ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND JOB DETAILS We will notify you through our app 24 - 48 hours in advance when your route needs to be serviced. Phoenixa Solutions shirt to be supplied by employer. No sandals or open-toed shoes should be worn at any time. Steel-toed shoes or boots are recommended, but not required. Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure that cardboard pickups are timely and efficient.
