Calling all worshipers. Come SING in a live recording session on 2 songs that will be on the upcoming John Mark Pantana album. I am recording my next album! Ya! It's a good time. Do you want to sing on it? I have 2 songs on this album that are rather corporate-worshipy-ish. You know, Chris Tomlin vibes. Just kidding, not those vibes. Anyway, we have the vision to mix a studio-sounding worship song with the sauce of a live setting + it's going to be pretty neato. I’m looking for about ~100 people sing at a coffee shop. I'll teach you the songs and things + once we've all got it all straight, you'll sing your heart out while we record the room. We also will have a take or two where everyone prays + sings in the Spirit (sings their own song), etc etc. There is a unique, sonic beauty when the spontaneous praises of each individual come together as one voice in adoration of Jesus. We want that love-affection-of-the-heart to seep through on these songs. You do not need to sound like Whitney Houston or try to get your voice to stand out in the crowd. “Choirs” are meant to be one voice. With that said, if you are a worshiper + comfortable singing to Jesus.. then I would love for you to come. Please do not RSVP if you are not 100% sure you can come. We have a limited amount of space + are only doing this one time + it will live eternally on the album. The doors will open at 7:00 PM and the doors will lock at ~7:45 PM once the mics are recording. And then you'll be trapped and we'll never let you out. Just kidding, it should end around 9:00 PM. Bonus information: as this event will be located at Golf Park Coffee, there will be a barista present if you would so like to purchase a tasty beverage. Come hither little ones.
