We welcome you to learn how to play traditional djembe and dunun drums (bass drum melodies) in a fun, supportive drumming class. Join us! Under the instruction of Alan Tauber and assistants, we will get really good at playing the djembe and/or the dunun (stick drums) of West Africa. Classes will be held Thursday evenings at The Munroe Center for the Arts, Lexington, MA 02420 New England’s Premier Hand Drumming School serving the rhythmic community for over 27 years. DrumConnection offers excellence in djembe and dunun instruction from private classes to exciting workshops and performances. The art of drumming has, in various forms, become an integral component of cultures the world over, from East Asian war drumming , to the talking drums of Sri Lanka and West Africa.
