Dallas's Pretty Much Only Carnivorous Plant Gallery Opens For June Events
The current weather forecast for June suggests unusually cool temperatures for the month as compared to most years: let's take advantage of it. The Texas Triffid Ranch, Dallas's pretty much only carnivorous plant gallery, combines with Caroline Crawford Originals Jewelry to present regular Sunday morning Carnivorous Plant Porch Sales on June 6, 13, and 27, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. (No Porch Sale on June 20: we'll be in Austin that weekend for the Oddities & Curiosities Expo at the Palmer Convention Center.) Come for the array of carnivorous plants from around the world, including pitcher plants (North American, South American, Asian, and Australian), sundews, butterworts, bladderworts, Venus flytraps, and Australian triggerplants. Admission is free and masks are mandatory. For more information and directions, please visit http://www.texastriffidranch.com.
The Texas Triffid Ranch is Dallas’s pretty much only carnivorous plant gallery, located just east of Central Expressway and Spring Valley. Open both by appointment and for special gallery showings.
