Join Sisters of Yoga, in partnership with Fabletics, as we commemorate the 155th anniversary of Juneteenth. June 19, 2021 9AM-3PM at Atlantic Station in the common Green space near Hobnob Tavern we will enjoy a celebratory day of honoring our crowns and reclaiming our mental and physical freedom! Our day of celebration will be filled with 2 yoga classes (with registration) , savory food refreshments, marketplace vendors, music, community, good vibes & more! We will also have an incredible panel discussion on celebrating Black Culture and Heritage, educating the community on the importance of Black Culture and wellness intersection, innovative outlooks on inclusion, and honoring where we’ve been as a culture and defining a way forward. We also have a very special surprise performance for all guests at the end of the event! 😍 You don't want to miss out! By registering for this event, I affirm that I, and I alone are responsible for my decision to participate in the yoga sessions at the Sisters of Yoga Juneteenth Wellness Social in partnership with Fabletics, taking place on June 19, 2021. I understand that yoga includes physical movements as well as an opportunity for relaxation, stress reduction, and relief of muscular tension. Participation in this yoga class includes, but is not limited to, participation in meditation techniques, yogic breathing techniques, and performing various yoga postures. As is the case with any physical activity, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. I understand that yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. Yoga is not recommended and is not safe under certain medical conditions. Please consult with your doctor if you have ANY physical conditions that may worsen or be affected by participating. By signing my name below, I acknowledge that participation in yoga classes exposes me to a possible risk of personal injury. I am fully aware of this risk. I hereby consent to receive medical treatment that may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident and/or illness during any yoga class. By registering for this event, I realize that I am participating in yoga classes at my own risk, and acknowledge that participation in yoga classes exposes me to a possible risk of personal injury. I am fully aware of this risk. My signature further acknowledges that I shall not now or at any time in the future bring any legal action against Sisters of Yoga LLC, Fabletics, Atlantic Station, YungYogi LLC, YogaPlayground LLC, and all its affiliates; and that this waiver is binding on me, my heirs, myspouse, my children, my legal representatives, my successors and my assigns. My signatureverifies that I am physically fit to participate in yoga classes and a licensed medical doctor hasverified my physical condition for participation in this type of class. If I am pregnant or are post-natal, my signature verifies that I am participating in yoga classes with my doctor’s full approval. Sisters of Yoga (SOY) is a global wellness collective that blossomed out of the necessity for representation and community healing. SOY is dedicated to inspiring visibility, building community, and creating safe spaces for people of color to explore self, heal traumas, and cultivate a healthy, sustainable lifestyle through yoga, holistic wellness, and mindful living.
