On Tuesday, May 18th Vincent Girard Samuels, II, was taken unexpectedly in a callous and senseless murder on the Eastside of Jacksonville, FL (25 & Danese ). He was God Fearing, a son, brother, uncle, grandson, and nephew. Vincent was taken before he could live the full extent of his life. He was a loyal friend, full of life, and known to be the life of the party. He often spoke with the youth in the neighborhood encouraging them to take the right path. He was a beloved member of the community, known for his resiliency, always laughing and joking. Vincent’s life meant something and his purpose transcends his time on earth with us. On the one hundred thirty-eighth day of the year, he became shooting victim #139; more shootings than calander days in 2021. DUVAL COUNTY it’s time to take a stand!
