Small family cannabis farm in Fortuna, licensed since 2016 is about finished with a 20% cultivation expansion allowing us to add 1 more FT position to our small cannabis team. We are looking for just the right fit for our farm. This is a year round, living wage job in Fortuna. Employees are paid weekly through our Human Resources company. We have a beautiful farm with modern climate controlled commercial structures, new ADA break room and trimming facility. Here is a run down of our ideal candidate: We are looking for a MALE, > 5’9” in height, agile, weight appropriate for height. Would prefer a long term placement but will consider a minimum 1 year commitment. Able to perform a wide variety of plant care tasks, 70# lifting capacity & ability to pull indoor tarps. High level hand trimming skills. Able to work evening and weekend hours. Non smoking; no recreational drug use on site. No hard drug use period. Team player, detail oriented, reliable and dependable. Able to pass a background check with no felony convictions. Able to provide references and work history. Compensation dependent on level of related education, skills and responsibilities.
