Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 06/12/2021 211631064 Preliminary Release: On 6/12/21 around 3:04 pm, officers responded to 591 E Morningside Dr. NE in reference to a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male with a gunshot wound. He was not alert, not conscious but breathing and was transported to the hospital in critical condition. Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. This investigation remains ongoing at this time.  Please keep in mind the above information is preliminary in nature and can change as the investigation progresses and new information comes to light.
