Guitar lessons with Jim Dofka in a fantastic teaching studio. Lessons are held at JK Musician's Workshop in Washington, Pa where all teachers have years of teaching experience. All teachers at JK Studios have Pennsylvania Child Clearances. Jim currently teaches over 60 students per week. Student ages range from 7 years old to 73 years old. Beginners, Intermediate to advanced. All styles from acoustic rock to shredding metal. Jim teaches in the studio control room and incorporates many studio techniques with the lessons. You will make great progress playing along with various drum grooves in the studio. This makes playing scales, rhythm, chords, and arpeggios lots of fun. Learn technique, theory, rhythm, ear training, composition, reading, song performance, and recording technique. You will keep motivated and keep your playing fresh. Jim has toured and performed with many artists such as Leather Leone, Dofka, Rev Jones, Psycho Scream, Screamer, Brick Mistress, and Ironflame. Jim has recorded, produced and played on many releases. Everything from Country music legend Lorrie Morgan to Gore Metal Band "Necrophagia". Also available at JK Musician's Workshop: Voice Lessons, Piano Lessons, Banjo Lessons, Violin Lessons, and Drum Lessons RECENT RECORDING AND PRODUCTION CREDITS: *Jim played guitar, mixed and mastered the new Rev Jones Band CD entitled Bakwash. The band is a power trio consisting of singer/bass player Rev Jones(Steelheart, Michael Schenker, Leslie West) drummer Jeff Martin(Racer X, Badlands, Dokken). *Jim played on CDs from Bass Extraordinaire Ben Kuzay(Monstrosity, Wykkd Witch). *Jim played all of the guitar solos on the new Ironflame - Tales Of Splendor And Sorrow CD(Divebomb Records/USA - Metalworld Records/Europe). *Jim is also be featured on the song Shred Or Die by Power Metal band "FRENZY" from Spain on their new album titled "Blind Justice".
