Rehoming 1 year old male golden retriever/Husky mix. Neutered and up to date on shots. We have been trying to train him and we are failing. We realize we are not the right fit for him. He needs a home without small children, and no small pets. He bites my children, I realize it isn’t aggressive, it’s playful but I can’t seem to train it out of him and he bites hard. He jumps a lot and that too has been difficult to train. He chases small pets. We have been using the Zak George training method. He knows sit, stay, and leave it and that’s as much as I was able to get him to retain. He will come with all of his food, toys, treats, brush, slow feeder bowl, and his vaccination records. He needs a home with high energy that can give him the proper training he deserves. We hate that it’s come to this, but I can’t have him hurting my children anymore. Especially my youngest child since he’s only 4 months old. We are in North KC. His name is Kenai, he is crate trained and he loves to sit on chairs.
