Description
We have a 5 year old beautiful male chow chow mix name Leo. We believe he is mixed with Chow chow and Eurasier.
He is an aggressive dog. He was aggressive when we adopted him when he was over a year old and so far we have been trying to keep him out of situations. He is food and toy aggressive.
He definitely does not like other male dogs in his home and does not like small white fluffy dogs.
He has a history of attacking other animals.
He will try to nip at small children if they are too rough and you are not watching.
He would be best fit with a male because he responds very well and training than females. There should be no other small children or dogs in the home just to be safe. He is definitely a bro dog and loves car rides.
He was amazing with my daughter growing up but now we had to adopt our toddler son because his mother passed and I am unable to keep a close eye on our new adopted son and our chow chow.
Leo has lived peacefully in our home with my female chow and female chihuahua but there was an incident this weekend with a Maltese and no shelter will take him.
They are all advising me to put him to sleep but I believe there might be someone out there that is living alone that could give him a good home and keep him out of trouble.
He really is an amazing dog who is very protective of his home and family but needs someone who knows the breed and will keep a very close eye on him.
Please contact me if you are interested. We would really like to do a home check for him because we are being very cautious on who he will be homed with and every now and then an update on how’s he doing.
He is neutered and is up to date on vaccines.
