Hello fellow artists! I'm a printmaker (etching, woodcut, experimental, etc) with a fully equipped traditional printmaking studio. I’m going up to NY for a year to teach at a college, and I’m looking for someone (or multiple people) to sublet my studio! The whole room itself is 1000sq/ft and is semi-divided by a wall. Half of it is the printshop (500 sq/ft), the other half is currently occupied by a photographer. The lease will be for 1 year starting in September. High cathedral ceilings with skylights. Quiet building 1 block from Erector Square, occupied by other artists, small businesses, fitness studios, and a pet kennel. The PRINTSHOP includes the following equipment: 28"x50" Charles Brand etching press Flat files 2 ink slab counters (30"x72") Hot plate (14"x20") Sink with hot/cold water Tracing table Several large 4'x8' work tables Trays for acid and paper soaking  various shelves  mini-fridge The rent is $425 plus heat, which is shared with the other occupant. If two artists would like to share the printshop, I wouldn't mind so long as everyone gets along and knows how to use the equipment properly.
