We need volunteers to help with our Food Bank

We receive food from the Food Bank of the Rockies and some local farmers and we need help in our Brighton food bank on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. One day a week or even just 1 day a month is a huge help. Children over the age of 16 may volunteer. Volunteers on Tuesday fill and give out about 450 food boxes and work between 9:00am and 2:30pm. Those on Mondays and Thursdays sort out the incoming food and start around 1pm and finish about 4pm. Wednesday’s volunteers do general cleaning of the food bank; the starting times vary with availability. On Wednesdays we also introduce new volunteers to the process. Before starting there are two forms to fill out, the 'Volunteer Guidelines' and an incident waiver. VOLUNTEERS MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 25 LBS AND BE ABLE TO BEND OVER, TWIST AND REACH UP.
