What should pet owners do if you’re in a tough spot and need to rehome your animal? First off reach out to REPUTABLE animal rescues or your local animal control! REPUTABLE animal rescues AND animal control do NOT want to take a pet from a loving home. If you’re truly struggling to feed your animal or provide basic care (flea meds, wormer for livestock, food) PLEASE reach out! There is no shame in asking for help! A REPUTABLE animal rescue or animal control will WANT to help bc of the cost accepting, vetting, and rehoming your pet your pet will cost the rescue and animal control. If you need a bag of food or a bale of hay to get to next month there are REPUTABLE animal rescues or animal control that will help you OR put you in contact with a REPUTABLE animal rescue that can assist you!!!!! Any animal “rescue” that isn’t registered, tells you they are still waiting on their inspection, or the paperwork is in the mail IS A FRAUD!!!!!!!!
