Lost dog wandering off of SW 30th and Barbur Blvd

While driving my friend home around midnight, we discovered a male dog (pit bull mix) wandering around in the street on SW 30th just off of Barbur Blvd. He wanted to get into the large apartment complex on 30th and Marigold. We talked to three people that came out of the building but none of them recognized the dog. Unfortunately the dog has no collar. I plan on bringing him to the vet this morning to see if he's microchipped. He's very sweet and loving and plays well with other dogs. He's obviously well cared for and is well behaved.
