Hi, My name is Laura and I am a singer/songwriter/uke/guitar and spoon player (Im from the Appalachians). Im kind of like a cross between Fionna Apple and Ruth Etting if they both had hard lives and hearts of gold. Im into spooky/macarbre, magical fairy kind of vibes. Id love to have a band of people painted like skeletons and be the fairy queen on the mic. The goal would be to co-create an experience instead of just a sound. Im looking for a horn player, bass player, drummer and guitarist. Im open to other instruments, violins and fiddles, etc. I have an artistic vision and a very unique powerful sound and voice I would like to use as the North Star for the band. I am open to other ideas, performing other songs the band members write, etc. However, would be the Queen in charge. Im a sweetheart! no worries lol, I do have that x factor though and am ready to lead us to success. In success the band would have to agree that we dont ever sell-out to corporations; that wherever we perform, we help and we always consider our platform as something to be used for the voiceless. HMU if youre really fucking good. This isnt for fun or a hobby. Music is my life and my destiny.
