Hiring for Low Voltage commercial structured data cable installers, to work on projects in the South Carolina areas. Our company is looking for cable installers to support our client’s network infrastructures. This is a 1099 contractor role, it will include such as installing cable in structured cabling environments, reading appropriate diagram documentation, use tools to troubleshoot common data cable problems. As a structured cable installer, you will have a work week schedule of 40 hours. Cable installers will start out at a hourly rate of $25.25. A sign on bonus can be negotiable with experience. Cable Installers job requirements: · A neat appearance while on job site. · A valid Driver's license. · Must have own transportation. · Background check will be required and drug test. · If necessary maintain a required tool inventory list. · Have the ability to communicate with customers and team members for the purpose of completing projects effectively. Cable Installer education requirements and qualifications: · Associate degree in computer science or information technology and an approved certification from an approved vendor or technical institute, such as CompTIA, BICSI certification, etc. · Must have experience with cable installation in a wired infrastructure, cable splicing, and TIA/EIA cable wiring. · Structured cable troubleshooting skills. · Have strong comprehension, verbal, and written, and communication skills.
