Supervising Pharmacist-Manhattan NY Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50.00 - $62.00 per hour Job description: To safely dispense medication pursuant to prescription orders and to provide attentive, knowledgeable and friendly service to all customers, while monitoring patient drug therapies. Minimum Required Qualifications: -Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English and Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese) -Use of Micro merchant (Prime RX). Responsibilities include all aspects of the pharmacy operations including, filling, dispensing, billing, inventory, regulatory, etc. -Use of Outcomes MTM (Will train if needed) -Complies with State and Federal drug laws as regulated by the State Board of Pharmacy, HIPAA, the drug enforcement agency and the food and drug administration. Must complete all HIPAA and Pharmacy compliance required training modules. -Must exhibit the utmost professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with patients and their health information -Maintain Department sanitation and QA standards by cleaning and sanitizing all work surfaces, utensils and equipment for all locations. Keep floor clear of debris and spills. -Dispense medications in an accurate and efficient manner while following company policy and government regulations as well as supervising all staff pharmacists. -Control medications by monitoring drug therapies and advising interventions. -Maintain records for controlled substances, removing outdated and damaged drugs in all locations.
