Celebrate Independence Day (on July 3rd) with a Bike Ride to Fort McHenry
What better way to celebrate Independence Day than with an early morning bike ride to Fort McHenry on a guided bike ride with over 100 of your fellow Catonsville residents. The bike ride will be held on July 3rd this year. Don’t forget to wear festive holiday wear and decorate your bike.
This is a casual ride at approximately 10-12 mph. Helmets should be worn. Parents should consider distance and conditions of ride to determine if age appropriate for child’s endurance and strength. No one is left behind. The bike ride is free but a $10 suggested donation to Catonsville Rails To Trails is appreciated.
Catonsville Rails To Trails Inc. (CRTT) is a nonprofit (501c3) organization that was established is 1999 with the goal of converting streetcar and railroad right of ways in the Catonsville area into hiking and biking paths to enhance recreation and exercise and to foster the preservation of railroad history in Catonsville. CRTT is also a biking advocacy group that supports the establishments of bike lanes, lane marking and signage, and the sponsorship of numerous bike rides.
