Celebrate Juneteenth on June 18 Support Bite of Black Business(over 100 black businesses) Stand in solidarity with Charleena Lyes Family Come out and support this community held event. The community has came together to celebrate Black Freedom , Black Business and stand in solidarity with charleena lyes family as they celebrate her memorial. June 18th Charleena ( pregnant) was killed by Seattle police June 18th 2017. This event and the community want to show solidarity and stand with the family so we created space for her love ones to remember her and bring awareness to the fact the officer have not been charged. We encourage everyone to come out and show support. ( Family will speak around 5:20ish , ballon release at 6:00. ) This event is being held by many sponsors, community members, and families. We have free food , over 100 Black Owned Businesses, clothing , food , drip , Seamoss , anything and everything you need but Black owned baby . Market opens 2 - 8 pm . Enjoy speakers , dancers , live music , bubbles , chalk for the kids . Market opens 2 -8 pm , Watch how I chalk 2:30 pm Speeches starting at 3 -4 pm African dance team at 4 :00 pm Kids Bubble Dance Party 4:30 Speeches and family reflection 5:20ish A ballon release at 6pm for Leena. Please Bring Purple Balloons . Community dance party 6:40-8:00 Enjoy our annual firework show after the sun goes down 7:30-8:00 This event is for everyone , anyone who support Black lives !
