The MCAA JGS Foundation hosts the 2021 Rockfish Rodeo tournament on 25-26 June 2021. The 2021 Marine Corps Aviation Association John Glenn Squardon Foundation Rockfish Rodeo is a one day fishing tournament for rockfish in Solomons, Maryland. Official registration will be completed at the Captain's Meeting at the Calvert Marina on Friday June 25, 2021 at 5:30pm. Boats may be launched from anywhere the morning of Saturday, June 26 at 6:00am. Fish must be brought by boat to the Calvert Marina at 3:00pm for official weigh ins. Cost per boat is $150. Calvert Marina address 14485 Dowell Road, Solomons, MD 20688. **In conjunction with the Captain's Meeting, MCAA JGS Foundation is hosting the 1st annual Solomon's Island Bar Crawl. All proceeds from the Rockfish Rodeo will go to the MCAA JGS Scholarship Fund for high school seniors in the Southern Maryland Tri-Country area who plan to pursue STEM based degrees. The MCAA John Glenn Squadron Rockfish Rodeo is not affiliated with the Department of Defense and is not officially endorsed by the U.S. Navy. The organizers, establishments, sponsors, and volunteers of this event are not responsible for any injury, loss or damage of any kind sustained by any person participating in the Solomons Island Bar Crawl hosted by MCAA JGS Foundation, including injury, loss or damage which might be caused by the action, inaction, or negligence of others.
