Description

The Reality Tour (RT) is a volunteer-driven substance abuse program that is presented to parents and their children ages 10-18. Middle School Ambassadors are a small group of students dedicated to the promotion of positive mental health outcomes, and the promotion of healthy lifestyle choices and outcomes for students. They will work on a volunteer basis to serve as liaisons between their home school and the broader communities in which they live. The Student Ambassador’s main job is serving as student trainers of other students to promote healthy physical and mental health outcomes. Rewards: • Sharpen communication and public speaking skills • Improve interpersonal and conversational skills • Enhance confidence when speaking and interacting with many members of their community • Develop networking skills through participation at exciting events • Develop leadership to use in college and beyond
