I have a few openings for independent contractors. I own and operate a small moving company. We assist in Loading/Unloading moving trucks for our clients. I am a 420 friendly employer, as long as it doesn't affect your performance. Starting pay is $20/hr, which is bumped up to $25/hr upon promotion to 'Lead'. (As an independent contractor, you are responsible for paying Taxes on any income you receive.) In order to qualify for promotion to Lead, one must possess a valid driver's license. The job includes paid training, and payment is received on a per contract basis, (usually within 3 days). For Example, if we finished a Job on a Friday (after banks have closed), you will be paid on or before the following Wednesday. Requirements: -MUST BE OVER 18 YEARS OLD -MUST BE ABLE TO COMFORTABLY LIFT UP TO AND IN EXCESS OF 50 LBS -MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY (MANY JOBS ARE BOOKED FOR WEEKENDS) -MUST BE ABLE TO PASS 3 WEEK TRAINING, IN WHICH YOU WILL BE GRADED ON PERFORMANCE, CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND PROFESSIONALISM. (PAID TRAINING, OF COURSE). -GENERAL LABOR/MOVING/LOADING/UNLOADING EXPERIENCE IS A HUGE PLUS!
