This summer solstice, join friends and like-minded strangers in a communal yell at Lake Michigan We each have our own reasons for screaming, be they lost oppurtunities, heartbreak, unjust inter-generational systems of oppression, or the global pandemic. On June 19th, we're screaming it all out. To be clear: we are yelling at Lake Michigan, but not yelling AT Lake Michigan. Scolding the lake is highly discouraged. Do not provoke Lake Michigan DO NOT PROVOKE THE LAKE. All additional noisemakers are welcome to aid your emotional release. (pots and pans, musical instruments, etc.) --- Schedule --- 11 AM -- There is an optional ceremony for setting intention (weather pending.) What do you wish to release via yelling? 12 PM -- We yell at Lake Michigan (rain or shine.)
