YOGA 60-minute, Vinyasa Flow About the practice: 60-minute, Vinyasa Flow with an emphasis on mindfulness and deeper relaxation in the body to support personal nourishment and self care. The style of the class allows for strongholds in posture, joint mobility and deep stretching. Please bring your own mat. Masks to be worn at all times. This event is sponsored by The Spoke and Bird, Kids Science Labs, Rush Hospital, Prairie District Neighborhood Alliance and PiEproject Foundation. With support from the Chicago Parks Foundation. Note: Due to capacity limits, please be respectful of your neighbors and the instructor by attending after registration. If you are no longer able to attend, please cancel your registration no less than 48 hours before the class to allow another participant to register. About the instructor: Jennifer strives to make yoga more accessible and is dedicated to understanding the human experience of her students, providing tools that encourage a positive shift both on and off the mat. About the organization: The PiEproject Foundation is dedicated to optimizing health through the physical, mental and social practices of yoga. - Practice, Invest, Experience. We host yoga classes to recognized 501c3 organizations and pay certified instructors to teach them. We refer people to yoga studios in their community and subsidize the fees for yoga classes for those in need.
