IIT AGNE Picnic This year’s Annual IIT AGNE Picnic promises to be a fun event at the same location we had our party previous years. We have plenty of FREE PARKING! The covered pavilion can accommodate over 200 and ensures we will have fun come rain or shine. Relive your IIT days with plenty of fun activities planned including old favorites like Anthakshri, Quizmaster, badminton and many more. A great time to meet new friends and renew old friendships. The picnic is open to all IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Alumni, their families, and friends. We have plenty of food for everyone. Food: Catered multi course, South and North Indian delicacy, including freshly grilled “street side” corn, watermelon, freshly grilled tandoori chicken and veggies. Activities: + Bingo + Lawn Games + Barbecue Transportation & Parking: + NARA Park has plenty of free parking for large gathering. + The transportation will be provided from Alewife T and South Acton Commuter Train station to those who need it. Indian Institutes of Technology Association of Greater New England (IIT AGNE) is a charitable organization dedicated to engaging in and supporting charitable, educational and scientific research activities. It was incorporated by a group of engineering and technical professionals that were initially drawn together due to their common educational foundation from the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and residing in the Greater New England area including the states of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut and Vermont. IIT AGNE is a membership organization, with membership open to any person who supports its goals. Realizing the strong role that key alumni from the IITs have played in the science, technology and academic fields in the US and with the strong ties to their fellow alumni and institutions, the organization also seeks to leverage the successes of their peers to serve as role models and exemplars in the STEM fields.
