Suite Four, 506 Ramseur St., Unit 4, Durham, NC 27701 Join us Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm for our 4th Annual Designed With A Purpose Event! This event is FREE!!! We will have entertainment, food, games, giveaways, music, photo booth, and vendors! Come out and be empowered! You must register to attend. The event title this year is “Collaboration Over Competition” focusing on sisterhood. We will have a panel of professional women discussing topics such as: • Competing for the same role • Perception of women in leadership positions • Lack of support from other women • Survival vs. Sisterhood …and so much more! Meet Our Panel Angela Davidson is a nurse, wife and mother and resides with her family in Salisbury, NC. She's a proud alumni of Winston-Salem State University where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. She has spent seventeen years of her nursing career as serving our nation’s Veterans at the VA Medical Center. Shanté Demary is the Director of Commercial Operations for Teleflex Medical, and has 15 years of experience in the Medical Device arena. Shanté also serves as the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Regional Council Chair for the US & Canada at Teleflex. She resides in Wake Forest, NC with her husband and 3 children, and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Angela Edwards has been in B2B marketing for over 13 years. She has worked her way up from an entry-level Marketing Assistant position to Senior Management. Her various roles have built expertise around brand building, event planning, marketing strategy, Demand Generation, and Account Based Marketing (ABM). She resides in Durham, NC with her family. Kia Ford has over 20 years of business and financial management experience with a focus in business and program development, operations, project management and employee development. Kia has been a respected speaker, board member and mentor to many, and is known for her innovative and driven results in the Social Impact space, where she is a vocal advocate and leader for Women's Equality in the Workplace. Kia resides in New Jersey with her husband and two children. Tanza Haskins is a Psychotherapist and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Hampton University, and obtained her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. For over twenty-five years, Tanza has provided mental health services to a widely diverse clientele. She resides with her family in Raleigh, NC. Jamie Kiles is a Master Certified Trainer with the American Society of Training and Development, holding many professional certifications in the Communications and Human Performance Improvement fields. Jamie is the owner and founder of Jamie Lynn Empowerment, LLC. She empowers others by inspiring hope of overcoming a painful past and using it as a tool to succeed in all aspects of life.
