Volunteers needed to assist with organization of NAMI Dekalb's Multicultural Mental Health Fair! Volunteer opportunities will include: set up (tables, chairs, booths, etc.), checking guests in, parking assistance, pre-packaged food table, keeping various activities organized, and break down. Volunteers will only be asked to assist for 1-2 hours (2 hour max) to allow for enjoyment of the fair before/after shift is completed. Volunteers will learn about the mental health supports and resources offered through NAMI Dekalb and NAMI affiliates. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to get involved and build connections in the mental health field or start their own journey towards optimizing personal mental health! NAMI Dekalb offers events throughout the year including weekly community support groups, Minority Mental Health Fair, an annual walk, among other events!
