Kids will learn to fish in the surf as the sun sets! Learn hands-on how to catch fish active at night!  Fishing from the surf at night can often be more productive than fishing during the day, as more fish come closer to the shoreline to feed and there is less disturbance from swimmers. This program is intended for kids ages 10-15 years old with prior fishing experience(*16-17 yr olds may also register if they have or acquire an NC Coastal Recreational Fishing License). Surf rods can be difficult to handle for younger children/beginners. Location TBD based on fishing conditions on Bald Head Island and sent prior to the program. All equipment and bait are provided. Program led by the Director of the BHI Conservancy. Face masks optional.
