Monday, June 28th at 6:00pm, Lincoln Street is hosting a 5 Course Farm to Table dinner featuring Local Lamb paired with wine. Monday, June 28th at 6:00 pm, Lincoln Street-Kitchen and Cocktails, is hosting a 5 Course Farm to Table dinner featuring Local Lamb from Sun Raised Foods paired with a selection of wine. This will truly be a culinary experience, opportunity to learn about local sustainable agriculture and meet fellow foodies in the Charlotte area. Guests will meet at 6:00pm at Lincoln Street. The event will be limited to 40 reservations. MENU First Course: Charcuterie board featuring two types of dry cured Sun Raised lamb salami, regional cheeses and accoutrements. Paired with a special wine selection. Second Course: Grilled Lamb Skewers with ripe grape cherry tomatoes, fresh pineapple, and local peppers. Dip in a cool yogurt based tzatziki sauce Paired with a special wine selection. Third Course: Summer Lamb Stew- braised lamb prepared with local carrots, sweet peas, pearl barley and butternut squash puree, finished with lettuce, haricot verts and seasonal spices. Paired with a special wine selection. Fourth Course: Lamb Ribs- Simple and Succulent Lamb Ribs served with a potato puree, and garlicky asparagus. Paired with a special wine selection. Fifth Course: A Fresh Fruit Tart prepared by Cornelius's own Bakery 28. Mascarpone cream spiked with Bailey’s Strawberries & Cream liqueur fills the handmade tart shell and is topped with fresh seasonal fruits. Paired with a special wine selection. COST The five course farm to table dinner experience paired with 5 different wines will be priced at $95 per person plus Taxes and Gratuity. CHEF The dinner and recipes will be prepared by Chef Ivan Pereyra, and the dessert will be prepared by Pastry Chef, Anna Murray. SUN RAISED FOODS LAMB Sun Raised Foods is a Cornelius based company working with farmers across North Carolina and Virginia to raise Animal Welfare Approved (AWA) lamb on the pastures of local solar farms. The lamb for the June 8th event will come from the Montgomery Sheep Farm located in Biscoe N.C. less than 70 miles from the Lincoln Street. During the dinner, Sun Raised Foods will provide interesting information about the farm, the lamb, solar energy and local agriculture.
