Money Museum Afternoon Ticket Visit the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Money Museum; a billion dollar experience! Free to the public, the Money Museum offers guests the opportunity to watch millions of dollars in currency be processed, lift a gold bar worth nearly $400,000 and enjoy fun, interactive exhibits while learning about the economy. Visitors can enjoy a 450-piece collection of coins minted under each U.S. President, on loan from the Harry S. Truman Library. All guests will receive a free souvenir bag of shredded U.S. currency. Daily Hours: Monday-Friday 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.; 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Closed: Daily from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., weekends, and all Federal holidays. Reserved Ticket: This ticket is good for entry anytime between 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. All visitors over the age of two are required to have a digital ticket to enter the museum on any given day. Arrival: All adults over the age of 18 are required to have a government issued ID- a state ID card, driver's license, or passport. Upon arrival please show our Law Enforcement your ticket for you and/or your group along with your ID. COVID-19 Policies: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City is utilizing a ticketing system to control occupancy and allow for contact tracing within the Money Museum. To enable contact tracing, the Bank will collect the name, email, and phone number for one individual per party (e.g. the person booking tickets for a group or family). When entering the Bank, all individuals age two and older are required to wear masks. Individuals must social distance from those outside of their immediate party while within the Bank. Please do not come onsite if you (or anyone in your group) has experienced any of the following COVID-19 symptoms two days prior, or the day of, your Money Museum visit. • Fever • Cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing • Chills or muscle pain • Sore throat • New loss of taste and smell • Other less common symptoms, including gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea, vomiting and diarrheaAlso, please do not come onsite if you or someone you have had close contact with has, or is being evaluated for, COVID-19, or is experiencing any of the above symptoms. Tickets Limitations: Your ticket is a revocable license and may be withdrawn at any time by the Bank. Noncompliance with Bank policies or instruction by Bank staff, including mask requirements and social distancing, will result in your ticket being revoked. Ticket holders, and any minor accompanying the ticket holder, voluntarily assume all risks and hazards by using this ticket and entering the Bank.
